The South Shuswap Hospice Society (formerly known as The Sorrento and District Hospice Society) has served

the Sorrento District since 1985. We faced some serious challenges through the pandemic and are now working hard to revive this essential community service. 

Our group of volunteers offer a variety of assistance for individuals that have been incapacitated and in need of medical aide equipment through our Equipment Loan Program. 

We will also be providing hospice services that include in home respite for caregivers, end of life care, individual and group grief support. 

We are a non profit, charitable society that relies on community volunteers and fundraising support.
